Nestled in the heart of the iconic Kruger National Park, situated in the Skukuza Rest Camp, Kruger Station offers a culinary experience as bold and untamed as the landscape itself. Showcasing South Africa’s responsibly sourced rich venison heritage, the menu is designed for those seeking unique flavours inspired by the wild.

Get ready to unleash your appetite at Kruger Station, where the wild meets the plate in the heart of Kruger National Park. The heroes? Crocodile Schnitzel, Warthog Pie, and bold Pizza venison varieties that turn every bite into a safari for your tastebuds.

From the golden, herb-crusted Crocodile Steak Parmesan Schnitzel to the rich, slow-braised Impala & Warthog Pie, this menu celebrates South Africa’s wild heritage with a daring twist.

Craving something adventurous? The Warthog Sausage, Bacon & Avocado Pizza and Choice Venison Bolognese with Pappardelle and the Signature Bush Pizza rounds off the wild dining experience, boasting kudu bobotie, garlic, peppadews, wild rocket, and a tangy mayonnaise drizzle.

Whether you’re a foodie, an adventurer, or just curious, Kruger Station invites you to experience an elevated dining experience in the Lowveld — because ordinary is overrated.

Guests can begin their journey with the Smoked & Cured Kudu Duo, a refined combination of succulent kudu venison, marinated beetroot cubes, and creamy avocado mousse, served with crispy crostini for a delicate yet flavourful bite. For a South African twist on a classic, the Venison Prego Roll features a flame-grilled marinated sirloin steak, basted with peri-peri sauce and served with grilled onions and tomato on a fresh ciabatta bun. The Chakalaka Beans with smoky tomato-onion relish, crispy corn nachos, cheese sauce, avocado guacamole, and fire-roasted corn salsa bring a comforting, hearty taste of home-style cooking.

Elevating traditional flavours, the Impala & Warthog Pie offers a slow-braised blend of impala and warthog, cooked with wild herbs and vegetables, finished with cream, and encased in flaky puff pastry. Meanwhile, the Choice Venison Bolognaise with Pappardelle Pasta transforms kudu mince into a rich, slow-cooked Bolognese sauce with tomato, garlic, and wine, perfectly paired with pappardelle pasta.

For those seeking something truly extraordinary, the Crocodile Steak Parmesan Schnitzel presents a golden, herb-buttered delight. Coated in egg, Parmesan, and breadcrumbs, the tender crocodile steak is pan-fried to perfection and served with creamy garlic brown butter fettuccine. The Warthog Sausage, Bacon & Avocado Pizza takes a bushveld twist on a classic, layering warthog cheese grillers, crispy bacon, and creamy avocado with a drizzle of smoky chipotle mayonnaise. To round off the wild dining experience the Signature Bush Pizza boasts kudu bobotie, garlic, peppadews, wild rocket, and a tangy mayonnaise drizzle.

Kruger Station invites guests to explore these distinctive dishes and indulge in an authentic taste of the wild—where every bite tells a story of South Africa’s untamed culinary landscape.
