Safaa Eljaz

Safaa Eljaz

Safaa Eljaz is a Morocco native who grew up in a traditional Riad in Salé, Morocco watching her mother make colorful Moroccan rugs with an artisanal in-house loom. After years at a corporate job in France, Safaa stepped out of the pure-play capitalistic sector to work on social sector issues with a focus on rehabilitating Moroccan heritage internationally. Her favorite thing to do is to delve into Moroccan ancestral craftsmanship and meet with artisans in rural villages to share their stories. Visit her sites moroccanzest and littlemoroccanthings where she connects you with her passions: Morocco, Moroccan handicrafts, and traditions.
