The beach is surrounded by lush green areas where you can relax or have a picnic with your family.

The hills and mountains around the blue waters make the area picturesque. You can also look out for different bird species including the African green pigeon, Yellow-fronted canary and many more. The Hole in the Wall is a must-visit for beach bums.

2. Margate beach, KwaZulu Natal

You can hire a sunbed and umbrella to complete the seaside experience. The beach is safe and protected, lifeguards are always on standby. There is no hustle and bustle, you will have a relaxed holiday.

Margate offers a variety of outdoor activities. There is a river by the beach, families can go for boat rides at reasonable prices. A large tidal pool for kids and a variety of holiday-centric establishments.

Camps Bay has a variety of markets, restaurants and terrace cafes. Make new friends, play frisbee or volleyball on the soft, white sand.

4. Dolphin beach, Eastern Cape
