Nomad Africa has been announced as an official media partner for World Travel Awards Africa Gala Ceremony 2017. World Travel Awards founder, Graham Cooke, welcomed the news in the run up to the glittering event – which will take in Rwanda’s thriving capital, Kigali, at the five star Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre on October 10th.

He said: “World Travel Awards is delighted to welcome the upscale Nomad Africa Magazine into the WTA family.

“Nomad Africa has built up a reputation for being Africa’s premier business, travel and tourism print souvenir and we are incredibly proud to partner with them.”

Cooke continued: “We look forward to Nomad Africa helping us tell WTA’s story all over the world, particularly in their home market in Africa where they are such an established and recognised presence.”

Published quarterly by 2414 Media Group based in Johannesburg, South Africa, Nomad Africa magazine is available in print in most VIP lounges of international airports, business class sections of selected airlines, four and five star hotels, spas and casinos, as well as luxury cruise liners which service the African coastline and selected retail outlets across Africa.

Nomad Africa is also available in digital versions on digital newsstand platforms such as PressReader, Zinio, and Magzter, as well as on Android, iPhone and Windows app stores.

The magazine is made available digitally to a worldwide combined audience of over 300 million and an extensive network of sponsored hotspots, which allows the publication to be viewed and downloaded in more than 6,000 hotels worldwide and over 16,000 libraries, universities, cruise ships, airlines, government and corporate offices, hospitals, and cafes around the globe.

John Akinribido, publisher of Nomad Africa, said: “To have Nomad Africa magazine as an official media partner is an exciting collaboration and we look forward to all the incredible opportunities that this will bring leading up to the Africa Gala Ceremony in October 2017.

“This is indeed a milestone achievement for us and will further fuel our passion in celebrating Africa and dispelling the negative perceptions which the world has held of the African continent, to replace it with a positive focus.

“It will impact our growth positively as we strive to surpass standards.” World Travel Awards was established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry.

Today, the World Travel Awards brand is recognised globally as the ultimate hallmark of quality with winners setting the benchmark to which all others aspire.

Each year World Travel Awards covers the globe with a series of regional gala ceremonies staged to recognise and celebrate individual and collective success within each key geographical region.

World Travel Awards Gala Ceremonies are widely regarded as the best networking opportunities in the travel industry, attended by government and industry leaders, luminaries and international print and broadcast media.
