Nestled in the centre of town, you will find a beautiful old stately property, central and within walking distance of the Stellenbosch shops and restaurants. This pristine guest house offers a luxury stay wrapped in a peace and tranquil environment. With a homely feel about it, the décor is finely chosen and a treat to eye.

Twice Central Guest House welcomes travellers with open arms and a sense of belonging. As you step through the front door, you are greeted by an ambiance that blends sophistication with comfort. The inviting atmosphere invites you to unwind and soak in the unique charm of Stellenbosch.

Before 2016 the guest house was called Oak Village. When the new owners took over in 2016 the name was changed to Twice Central, named after an AirBnB with two rooms owned by them, Twice Guest House.

The house and staff will give you a warm welcome and you can expect beautiful chill areas, clean and comfortable rooms, a sparkling plunge pool, courtyard and garden.

The lounge and dining area, like the rooms, has been has carefully decorated with care and attention. A black and white checkered floor in the dining area is striking and it easy to see why visitors would grab for the cameras when seeing this unique floor. Art pieces from local artists decorates the walls and these were also carefully chosen to suit the style of the guest house.

The beautiful guest house is also a popular venue for weddings and occasions. Seeing Mervyn Gers Ceramics used in the guest house is just another proof of the thought attention and detail given when choosing the layout and décor of Twice Central.

The establishment has a four-star rating but, “we give five-star treatment,” says General Manager Anina Naude.

Twice Central has seven individually, modern decorated rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Each room comes equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary pods. Guests are spoilt with super comfortable extra length king beds. The feel is that of simple, clean lines, it is functional and clear, yet it does not compromise on the amenities needed to make your stay a memorable one.

Free and fast wi-fi will keep you connected throughout the guest house and an honesty bar in the dining/lounge area has been added and is now available for the comfort of guests.

Anina says the rooms and pool area has been upgraded about two years ago with new décor and furniture to bring the first-rate guest house as we see it now, “but they like to keep up with the trends and “there are some changes in discussion already.”

Two of the rooms has private balconies with a table, chairs and sun umbrellas. Here guests can enjoy sitting outside looking over the pool area and enjoy a peaceful early morning coffee or a late afternoon glass of wine.

One of the balcony rooms has a separate private entrance. The spacious ground floor room with an ensuite bathroom is wheelchair friendly.

The garden room is situated next to the plunge pool and guests enjoy designated sun loungers and an outside seating area. This room has a separate outside entrance. Breakfast is served on the patio, and guests can expect to be spoilt to an array of cold and hot foods, fresh fruit, homemade granola, juice and good quality coffee.

Twice Central is as much a bliss in the winter as in the summer. For summer guests can soak up the sun and enjoy the outside area. In the winter the lounge and dining area gives the guest a warm fireplace welcome. Guests are welcome to enjoy a glass of wine or some fire side conversations in front of the fireplace.

Parking is free, off-street and secure. Visitors can easily navigate to town on foot or choose to order and Uber to get about or visit the wine farms. A driver and luxury vehicle can also be arranged for the guest who might prefer this service.

With the business of the town centre so close it is a fresh breeze that none of this will bother you in the quiet quest house.
